Is it necrophilia if she's undead!?! ALSO- zombie greaser pot-field landmines!!!

Just in case anyone reading hasn't noticed...
Other than the trailers I post on here, the clips contain **SPOILERS**!!! Just thought I might mention that before someone gets butthurt. Clips are part of the movie, sooo... yeah.

Without further ado, here's your cinematic nasties for the evening!

23-Deadgirl (2008)
IMDB's description for this movie is "Two high school boys discover an imprisoned woman in an abandoned mental asylum who cannot die." While that is the very skeleton of the story, it is much more complex. This complexity is one of the reasons I love this film so much. Basically, the boys find a zombie woman and end up making her a sex slave of sorts. This movie does not have as much to do with zombie "deadgirls" as much as it has to do with the mentality, interactions, and the good/evil nature of young males. This movie really revolves around two best friends who have a serious conflict over what to do with their new discovery. One wants to help her, the other wants to exploit the situation. If you also add a dose of violence, a little touch of comedy, and a love interest sub-plot, it makes for a pretty compelling film. It's directed by Marcel Sarmiento and Gadi Harel, who I think did a wonderful job capturing a really cool tone to the movie. It's written by Trent Haaga, a Troma veteran, who you might recognize from "Terror Firmer" and "Citizen Toxie: Toxic Avenger 4". I watched this one night on a whim, and it was much more that I expected. I would highly suggest giving this one a shot.

24-Trailer Park Of Terror
I picked this one up out the $5.00 bin at the grocery store. I really was not expecting a whole hell of a lot. Turns out it was pretty good! The story is based on the Imperium Comics series of the same name. A bunch of troubled "delinquents" on a field trip and their chaperone pastor have a minor bus crash on a deserted highway. They find a trailer park and guess what!! People start getting killed off. Anyways, there's more to the story than that, but that is the basic premise. It has a few dramatic moments, but for the most part "Trailer Park Of Terror" is pretty damn funny. The cast is surprisingly good, for the type of movie it is, and includes Nicole Hiltz as "Norma" and Myk Watford as my favorite character "Roach". If you just want to watch a silly, but entertaining "white trash evil undead hillbilly zombie" movie, then check this one out... or you could watch "2001 Maniacs", as someone on one of the movie forums said! Haha!!! I say watch them both!
